www.marestare.com/twins.htmDave's still working on trying to get some of the glare out. Surprise and Trouble have no idea they're on candid camera or they'd be hamming it up. They really love to perform for the camera. Surprise gets quiet in the heat and lays down a lot so that's normal but if you see anything that looks out of the ordinary please give me a call. Things seem to go south quickly with these two, so it's good to be ahead of them. 253-444-8743

Yes, Surprise is the one with the blaze and she is darker than Trouble. She is true black and he is black-bay like his mom. He shows up on the cam with a just little bit of a brownish caste to his coat. That's the only way I can tell them apart on the cam when their faces are not turned towards the camera.
They're actually kind of quiet tonight, but we'll be going out to do grain here soon and that's always good for some kind of nonsense.

Brushing and rubbing are definitely right up his line BUT he was using his interest in that as a decoy to get closer to sneaking some of his mom's grain. He and Surprise don't get any of the high powered stuff she's getting to be able to keep up the milkbar that these two require. They know they're missing out on a gourmet meal and will use whatever tactics to get some. Surprise was in the creep feeder finishing up the rest of the foal lac pellets. It's not often that Trouble lets her have them to herself. He's definitely a chow hound.

Mikael (and David!), thanks so much for getting the twins on cam. I'm still following your wonderful reports on their adventures and misadventures. You are a terific teller of their tales! It's such a kick to see them on cam and watch all three of them interact. The twins do look very healthy, thanks to all your efforts and improvisations. Thanks for letting us share!

Mikael and David - thank you so much for your patience as we worked through "technical" issues. I am so excited to finally see these guys live. I've been watching them off and on since the cam came up and it's funny to see them looking out the window. They are fortunate that they're able to do that....must be something interesting out there....hmmm... Thanks a bunch for your hard work and for letting us peek into their suite. When you're ready to put one up outside- let me know.

Not sure what a second cam would entail but maybe if we start working on it now, we might actually have it working by the time they finally get to go outside.

Currently the cam is down. It went down late last night and I haven't been able to figure out what the issue is. Will do what we can to get it back up asap.

Well, It's back up. Looks like Dave will need to adjust the angle again but at least we're up. If anyone has problems getting a pic please let me know. MiKael
