Hey everyone! I hope it's ok that I'm posting this here and if not by all means move it.
Shane Bernier is dying of leukemia. He is aware that he is dying and has come to accept it and there is nothing braver than that, especially for a young 7 year old boy. Shane had endured tons of treatments and was looking better until his 108th of 130 weeks of treatment when he relapsed. Now, there is little hope for his survival.
Because of his condition, Shane was eligable to team up with the Make A Wish Foundation - a foundation that grants one wish for a child with a fatal illness. Shane's wish is to make it into the Guiness Book of World Records for recieving the most birthday cards on his birthday. The current goal is 350,000,000 cards!!!!!!!! Therefore, Shane needs all the
he can get to reach this goal. Shane will be turning 8 on May 30th so there's not a ton of time left but certainly enough time to make a difference. Recently, my school has become involved with Shane and we're making him cards like crazy!!!!! It would be amazing if everyone on here could help out as well; especially those of you with young children because I know they can make lots of cards for him!!!
