It seems to me that just about every time I get on here to look at her, she is flat out on her side! Gosh, how are we gonna know when she decides to foal..?? LOL, I know, all four of her legs will go stiff and straight out!! Poor girl must be pretty uncomfortable!

Yes, she does lay out flat alot. She's already done all the typical things that show that a horse is in labor, pawing, laying flat, turning circles, etc. So I don't know what else to look for either, except more frequent ups and downs, pushing and the white bubble. (ha) 90% of my mares are extremely comfortable in their stalls and lay out flat, so it'll be an interesting foaling season. Thanks so much for watching with me.

Yep, so far this season has been VERY interesting! You should have seen me trying to watch two mares foal at once! I had Megan up, and Brandi, and oh darn I forgot the other one's name! Anyway, I barely missed Megan, but watched the other one! So, how many mares do you have foaling this year? I have big horses, but none to foal this year, I got two nice colts last year. I'm glad I found your site! I will be watching Brandi off and on.......but tonight I need to go to bed so I can get up to go to work tomorrow........

Actually I can relate fully because I was watching both and on the phone with the owner of the other mare, Rain at J&A Farms. Angie is my best friend, so she contacted me immediately when Rain started foaling and I was trying to relay information into the chatroom. It was indeed interesting, but fun.
