Ginny is doing the strange maiden dance the last couple of days with her milk. She was reading solid 500ppm which with this test means foaling within 24 hours but then when we check her at midnight it has been dropping back to 400-450 ppm. Tonight her milk is solid white and looks like whole milk and her test is reading 500ppm so at midnight, maybe it hold at that instead of dropping back. She is very loving today and does not want us to leave her stall. It would fit my schedule better if it was tonight. But you know they never want to fit into our schedule now do they?

Might want to tune her in now. She is looking very interesting and just started to go down, but changed her mind. I have to go check on my horses in a bit, but Ginny might need a low alert soon. Y'all watch and see.
Best of luck, Centaur! She's a beautiful mare! (And now she is eating hay again. But stay tuned.)

I have been staring at her without blinking an eye for 15 minutes now and she has not moved a muscle! There are lots of little white ghosties flying around now so maybe they have her scared stiff!

You didn't blink for 15 minutes???!!! You are my hero! You were born for mare staring.
I did see her move a while ago (time means nothing to me anymore, could have been 20 minutes or an hour ago). Maybe Devotee lost her touch while she was on vacation.

Thank you I'm flattered!
Maybe you should change your name to "B"npwolfluvr - you know "Brown Nosed Pony Who Only Licks Fish Lover"
Well, she just turned around and showed me her butt so I guess she is okay!

Really holding your eyes open for 15 minutes is easy after you get passed the first 5. Go on try it! I bet you can do it! The trick is to let your eyeballs get so dry that your eyelids can't move. Go ahead do it! Come on, I won't laugh I promise! !

What a great idea to have people labeled "humor moderators!" It lets everybody know that you can take a poke at them with impunity. Okay, so I might have jumped the gun. I got carried away causing trouble behind the scenes and noticed that Ginny was suddenly active and then she bowed down on her front knees and just held there . . . like hubby's gelding when he refuses a jump and hubby lands on his neck and then the poor horse has to wait for hubby to dismount so that he can get his feet. But I digress. I didn't have enough context when I sent out the alarum. I just saw her looking active and then doing the bow thing. And I know she's a maiden and testing high for milk, so I got excited. Maybe she'll foal and you can all be amazed by my foresight. Meanwhile, I'm gonna bring Deidre down on this thread if I keep typing. I really need some sleep or something.

I really hope the label of "humor mod" lets everybody know that you shouldn't take anything I say personally or literally or intelligently or honestly or moderately! Just sarcastically!
I don't know if you jumped the gun or not. I am still going to watch her until I have to put my laundry in the dryer, plus it's only 1:11 A.M. I have at least another 3.5 minutes before I fall asleep. You think if she laid down and started pushing she could have it before I hit the hay?

Apparently not! Well, Goodnight everybody! I have my alert on so maybe I'll get to see one more foaling before we run out of pregnant mares!

Wow, what a gorgeouse mare! Your stallion you bred Ginny to is stunning also! The baby sounds like it will be a great jumper. Ginny was just walking around a minute ago. She's kinda gassy... What are the odds that she'll have it sometime in the next five days? In two hours (at four a.m.) I'm leaving for Nebraska.
