We just got Tess, so it may have been Shanza. She was our last one last year and they are both black and white...so it was probably her. Shanza is a sweetheart too and she's my baby!!!

Hi everyone, well it looks like Tess is getting ready. She sure looks like she's hurting, poor thing. I pray for a fast delivery for her and her little "filly" and I hope she's as pretty as her Mom. How long has she been in labor?

I sure hope she goes soon. I am new at this and she has wore me out!! I am definitely hooked. I hope and pray she does well, she has a million people praying for her.

Thanks Deidre....if the weather is nice and labor doesn't appear to be close, we will put the mares out to give them some exercise. The weather today was 83 degrees and sunny, so there was no way we could keep her inside. We're going to take advantage of this weather break and keep them out as much as we can. Of course she'll have to be in at night because otherwise I'll be out there with a flashlight..  Thanks for watching.... |

We are expected to go down to -15 tonight............and snow.....
Tess does look uncomfortable tonight, I bet she likes being outside during the nice warm days though.............

It's been above 80 the last three days here. It's up..it's down....I have a feeling that winter hasn't left yet and she'll let us know it soon.
Sure wish Tess would foal while it's warm.....
