Yeah, I don't really get upset over due dates either. They aren't set in concrete, and the mares can't read. And people estimate them by more than one method, so that screws the whole thing up too as to what's "right". Once you really know your mares, that's a better indicator. Doesn't help you any with maidens, though.

Have you tried going out there and telling her its time to have her baby? I've been watching her for awhile now and really can't wait to see her baby. She's a gorgeous mare. Of course, she hid in the corner as soon as I went to your cam.

i talked to magic at ceoates and she listened as well as a brick...watched her every night for 3 weeks and she has the foal the one night i'm gone...lol i adopted her in chat one night so when i came back and saw the colt i grounded her LMAO

I had a gal tell me that if I was tired go to sleep, mares have babies all the time alone. I was like, sure , like I'm gonna sleep with a maiden mare that could foal any time.
I told her that I had to be there so I know what her reaction to stage one of labor, so that next year will be easier to predict!
