My eyes are on Stormy. This is the first donkey baby I have seen being born. I am VERY excited. I hope she has a safe, easy delivery. This will be the first time I see a donkey foal too. They have such beautiful faces. Right now Stormy is looking a bit like Eor from Winnie the Pooh, really tired and sad..............I can here her now. " Thaaaanks foooor checking iiiiiin on me." |

You guys are right. Her sides are very puffed out. You all are not going blind from staring. You can cup your hands over a ridge that is all the way from her hips. I just don't see how she can hold out much longer!
She had no worries at all with her first foal last year. So I am sure Stormy will not have any problems.

lol Deb, I have been watching stormy all day today and thinking she'd give it up anytime, but here i sit still waiting........have to leave for a bit so she'll probably go now.........hehe

Not sure, but I think she's been ready for awhile. Maybe the baby is just doing some arobics. Lol

The little foal is soooo active, I agree, I thinks she is doing jumping jack!
All the normal signs are there.

 i think she is just not ever gonna let me see that lil ears. I told her hey you have to let this go so i can work in the day and sleep at night she pooped. hmmm guess she told me. Okay i am got me ole tired eyes on her. Thanks for hanging in there with us for the long haul..
