I think thats a question I would ask Sandy if I was unsure. Then you would have the information from the right person. Sorry I did not make myself clear, Ruth meant did she phone me in case I was asleep. Ohhhh! ok  I'm the one that was talking about the mare cleaning out so I didn't make myself clear either! I am back for a min yes she has cow patties every where and i had to watch where i was stepping/ Full bag nipples pointing to each other back end swollen. I am keeping my distance cause she needs time if she wants me to touch her she will not move away and she moved real fast. hey at times i am not sure what i am doing. so don't any one feel bad.

 not the red light not the green maybe the yellow Margaret i wish i could be more exact but i cant' i feel yes but i have been fooled twice on here with her, Stormy is not one that like her boobs touched she has let me but at this time she is not going to let me. i wish i could say more i will just keep watching. I will let you know as soon as i feel she is there her breathing is more pronounced but at this time i can't say for sure. I am really sorry guys i just don't want to get every one hopes up

Thats fine Sandy I understand, but she is round and has pooped a lot to-day and I have no knowledge of these things, I hope it is sooner rather than later for your sake as well as Stormys.

I've just been thinking isn't this wonderful we are all thousands of miles apart and we have such a good time with each other and I for one have made some truly wonderful Friends thanks for that one and all. God Bless you all. Margaret.  Margaret..that was so sweet.  I think that sums it up for all of us. To me it's a special friendship we all have here on MS, a friendship of hearts. Don't feel so bad about your "cleaning out the stall" faux pas. I am now an "expert" on "waxed and bagged"....but I learned the hard way!!! Hi Sandy, Stormy, "ABF" gals and all other Stormy watchers.....
I haven't been on the board since late Saturday night, and can't believe that not only are we now on the 4th thread here, but that Stormy's baby is still "within"!!!!
My Rosa donkey had her baby on Saturday night, and she has been on her way with a good size milk bag for at least 3 1/2 weeks. About 20 hours before she foaled, her milk bag was totally engorged, her nipples were "poofy" and I would say that her bag was so swollen that it extended up towards her "patootie" (the word my husband is most comfortable using - too funny). She had loose stool regularly for at least 2 weeks, but i really didn't notice an increase in the day before. What I really did notice was how much the baby had dropped, and how pronounced the entire contour of her rib cage was the day before she foaled. She never did really wax at all - maybe just a tiny bit - like a pin head....but not like a mare would. She never, ever lost interest in eating hay, but wasn't interested in her grain at all that evening. And, she never did a lot of yawning, or biting, or kicking or "squatting" like a mare will. It is my experience that the jennets are more restless, but are less agitated than most mares, but, I could be wrong.... don't know if that helps at all.....
Just thought I'd throw my 2 cents in.....
And, if anyone would like to see some pictures of Rosa and Sweet Pea (really funny that I read that was a suggestion for Stormy's baby!), I'd be happy to e-mail you! Just send me a PM with your e-mail address.....What can I say, I'm proud, and I like to brag and show my new baby off!
