She's at the vet and seems okay for now. Late this morning I went to turn them out and noticed Cloud was dripping milk . I checked her bag and it was as hard as a brick. I watched her filly (Dancer) who would stick her nose up to nurse but wasn't nursing. Brought Cloud in and started milking her and Dancer got projectile diarrhea. Her temp was 102.3. By the time we got to the vet her temp was normal. Her IGg is excellent but her blood work is a little abnormal consistent with mild dehydration. They are keeping her overnight and they feel like I caught it in time. But pray my little filly will be fine! Thanks...also check updates and alerts - Gloriosa has milk! Stress level on high!

GOOD NEWS! The vet just called. Dancer is nursing. Dr. Meeker said "That little filly has won my heart. The whole time I've been treating her she's been nickering to me and giving me kisses!" He gave her some banamine and some IV Fluids. Said he may give her plasma in the a.m. Dancer's IGg is over 800 which is wonderful, but he said in these cases of diarrhea, sometimes the plasma just kicks it out of them. Dr. Meeker has been treating minis for 25 years and is the vet for Lucky Four Farms (huge mini farm). He is the greatest and Cloud and Dancer are in the best of hands. Now I just have to get on with Gloriosa and hope that goes well...Thanks again everyone. And I'll keep you posted.

THANKS SBL....drink lots of coffee for me tonight! I dont' need any! I will be sleeping (haha) with clothes on...but it's that darn pager that has me worried...Every morning it's turned off and I don't remember doing it....it's that stranger that sneaks in at night and turns it off.

Glad to hear baby is doing better. Sending lots of love and prayers your way... (I'm glad that your filly's IgG levels are high, my colt's IgG levels last year were 325 therefore had to have IgG plasma that added $300 on the vet bill)
Big Hugs coming from Tennessee for the little filly!
