Had a wonderful visit with Heather and Shannon this weekend and got some fabulous photos by Shannon of my foals.

Merry - we had such a good time and we're so grateful for you allowing us into your home and your farm. Your place is beautiful and I'm so glad I got to meet the mares! Especially Gloriosa, although...I really think my favorite is Cloud now.

I can't wait to see your foals from Secret next year! And have you told everyone how many.... I'll leave that one to you!

Okay Heather...like I said, I could have anwhere from 2 to 8 foals next year (haven't had any ultrasounds done yet)!!! Should be up and running on Marestare as early as January and as late as June...(ugh).

And thanks everyone for your compliments...it helps when the photographer does such an excellent job!!!

Well, Angie, just look at you....going 'round picking out photos! I like that one too! Blazer is a very proud, showy little thing. He just ran and bucked and said..."Hey, take a picture of me doing this!!!" The girls on the other hand, weren't so easy. They are way too stuck up to succumb to the antics of photography assistants in trying to get them to pose. Wanted nothing to do with putting their ears up or stretching their necks. I sort of wish I hadn't made Shannon delete the photo of Heather, on her hands and knees, with a RED POM POM draped over her head, blowing in Dancer's nose, and tickling her with a feather duster, trying to get her to stretch and perk up. Dancer's reaction was..."what in the world does this woman want from me and why is she doing all that silly stuff?" So, I truly appreciate what it takes to get those wonderful photos that Shannon took. She and her Mom have a great deal of patience...and it shows in the final outcome of the photos. Again, THANKS SHANNON AND HEATHER!!!
