What a cute little face...and Rowdy looks great too! SO glad they're home and you can hopefully get some rest!!! Best wishes for all at MRF!!!

Thanks, Heather! So good to see them again! And the slide show sequence almost makes Rosie appear to be moving a couple of times. Kinda cool! I hope you can get some rest and maybe some electrolytes for the headache. It looks like Shandy might keep you busy any time now.

Heather so glad to see Miss Rose and Rowdy home again. :)Praying that Rose continues on the road to recovery and gives you some peace. Take care of yourself to, have a large drink of water (for the headache) and get some sleep, your babies dont need an unwell human mum.

So that you know....the vets at the University have told me that Rose will die from this. I asked them how she could possibly die from something that they can't diagnose? They are going with their only available diagnosis, which is Interstitial Pneumonia www.thedoctorsdoctor.com/diseases/lung_interstitial_pneumonia.htm. All of Rose's tests have come back clean- no bacterial, no viral, no rhino/herpes...nothing. She just breathes shallow and rapid, her oxygen levels in her blood are low and her x-rays are opaque. I believe that Rose is strong and will pull through this - given time and caring. I hope you will continue to pray for her as she has a long ways to go yet before she's well. I'll be working on the cam this morning - hopefully you will all get to see her shortly. Thank you for all your support and love.

Hi Heather! I'm glad to see them both home. Such grim news from the vet. I'm hoping and praying they are wrong on her diagnosis. Please get better little Rose. I will continue to pray for her. She is so cute!!! Thanks for the updates and that adorable slideshow of her and Rowdy. Wish I could reach thru the computer and hug them both. Hugs to you too Heather!

Heather, have you spoken to the folks at Aarninks and Shady Nook? They both had problems with fillies that had labored breathing shortly after birth, and both fillies are fine now. Maybe they can recommend something?
Be strong and reach for the grace to get through this, Heather. I've got you, Rowdy, and Rosie in my heart and thoughts.
