![:D](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/grin.png) I SAW HIM...HA, ha - he's beautiful and on my goodness - talk about legs.....geez. I wonder where his mom had them all that time. It's a wonder that they can kick in there at all. CONGRATS. Thanks for sharing!!! Keep us updated on his progress. How's the mare doing - didn't she retain the placenta?

She did. She is doing well! They are doing oral banamine ($), oxy (for those of you who are clueless, this can be compared to pitocin for women, helps with contraction and expulsion) ($$), and antibiotics ($), but she sees the vet at her home two times a day for manual flushes ($$$$$$$$$$$$$$$!!). They think (now I could be wrong, I WAS blacked out in the corner of the stall during this conversation) that the unpregnant horn has a little torn piece in there, and since you cant manually reach that, oxy is used. I can't imagine my moms conversation with my stepdad over the bills. Poor guy! But he is so precious. And TALL! We were worried because he didnt kick very much, but when he did he really gave her a whollup. In a few days I will take more pics and get another page (Eveyrthing is smooshed because geocities compresses the page, it doesnt go on forever) so that you all can watch as he fills out. He is our only and last baby so we will be updating frequently. He is for sale and so is his dam, who has her ROM in halter and is a VERY nice producer. Her foals are AWESOME. Its a shame she's selling her, she really is a fantastic broodmare but she wants out of horses because of her back. If I could buy this colt I would but I gotta save up for my mini mares which should be around in 2-4 years. Okay Im rambling.
