We drove home today in 100+ degree weather with a Hanovarian mare and her 1 month old colt. We bought the colt and are caring for the mare until weaning. Dad is a Hanovarian named Werbellin at Greengate Farm. Mom used to be bred at Hilltop Farm in Maryland - ohh la la! What do you think of them? Fi's not too sure....   |

Everyone survived the night. Legz really wants to play and looks hopefully at the gate but the baby boy sticks very close to mom. They are all dirty after the heavy rain last night. The thunder was just over head. My son thinks a tree was hit across the street.
