Right now I am stuck a horse who is too young for me. He is green broke but sat all winter and after a few rides he bucked me off and I injured me leg and was off riding for awhile and I have never got back on him. One day I tired and was just to scared. He is really my moms horse, she has recently said she doesn't think she will have time to ride and he is opposite from what I want to be doing. Everything points to selling him, he is a great horse conformation wise and could be a great western pleasure horse if he went to the right home. It's not fair to just let him sit in a pasture the rest of his life (even though he doesn't mind lol) I don't have time for a green horse at all, but everyone is too emotionaly attached to him to sell, even though it would be the best for all of us.
What would you guys do?

Any chance of getting him to a trainer ? Its not fair to him to just sit in the pasture either, My horses enjoy getting out and going for a ride. They get to see new things and go new places. jmo Tc

Lindsey, if you can't have him trained it would be best to sell him to a good home with an experienced rider. Then you can look for that perfect pal you can enjoy.
