We got Baylee home yesterday evening. Boy was she one happy horse! She has been in a round pen and then a stall for two weeks without grass (but hay of course) and when we put her in the back pasture behind the shed, she was throwing her head and rearing and just SOOOOO glad to be home. So we took Rusty and Mystery over to meet her, and was that a precious reunion! They were sniffing and herding each other. Then Baylee gave Rusty a love nibble on the neck. Later they ran together, bucking and Baylee throwing her head. Then Baylee and Mystery exchanged their love nibbles on the neck (you know when they chew on each others neck... looks like they are hugging). We took them back to the other side where the big pasture is through the woods. Once Baylee got in there she took off bucking and galloping and throwing her head some more. I walked down through the woods, all three horses following right on my back, and undone the gate to let them go up into the field. Walked up to the field and they took off galloping SOOOO FAST. I've NEVER seen them SOOOO happy. I wished that I would have had my video camera, because they all three were trotting with their tails held as high as an arabian. It was a gorgeous sight though, because it was late evening and the sky was a pinkish orange and you could only see their shadowy figures from the bottom of the hill against the sky. I'm very glad to have my horse back, although it's dissappointing that I won't have a baby to look foward to next year. Forgot to mention she got a scrubby dubby bath yesterday evening. Now she's clean as a whistle.
Well that's definitely enough, but Baylee is ONE HAPPY HORSE!
