While cleaning out my closet I came across my Mr. Potato Head massager. Go ahead and laugh. I didn't buy it. LOL. This got me thinking about someone I knew that used a palm held massager to get her babies used to clippers. It was battery operated so she could take it with her out in the pasture. She started with their necks and moved to their butts. Then she would go to the ears, head, and legs. Ran it all over their bodies. You should have seen their lips when she gave them a good massage to their butts. They loved it. I think she started out on low speed and got faster as they became accustomed to it. All of her horses loved it. When she clipped them for the first time just before weaning, they stood still. Well, as still as a foal that age can. This would probably work with any kind of small hand held massager.
