Just to let you know, Puff was on cam in Jan. but sadly she lost her foal It's nice to see her on the site!

Queenie will probably be leaving us. She has had a very traumatic life. She's lost her last three foals and is rebred (by my choice). I felt that if she was with me and on cam she wouldn't loose another foal.

But Queenie is untrusting of humans. You can't catch her in the field. She will come into a stall and will let you put a halter on her, do her feet and do vet work.

It saddens me that she's so untrusting because she really is a nice mare and she wants to trust. I just think she wasn't handled alot.

I've found someone in Florida that is interested in taking her as a pet. She'll foal her out and hopefully help her to trust people again. She has far more time than I do. I just wanted to give her a foal and a home.....and keep her from going to auction, which was where she was heading eventually.

I'm so sorry it may come to that kind of situation Heather, I hope she lives a good life. She deserves someone that will pay lots of attention to her.
