I finally got around to getting a camera over there and getting some pics of my chestnut girl. I'd love to know what shade of chestnut everyone thinks she is. There's even a short video clip that my fiance took of me riding. Stupid me only took one floppy disk for the camera, thinking it would be enough. I don't know much about her pedigree but her sire is a registered Quarter Horse in Pennsylvania(the Harvy's Lake area) and he is known for passing on big butts to his foals. Which she has, looks rediculous with her narrow chest(*gotta build some more muscle there*) So if any one can help me out with possibilities... oh and he'd be some shade of chestnut or sorrel. The dam was mostly white either a max white Paint pattern or Leopard App. pattern but Chestnut or Sorrel base. With the dam I've seen one pic when Sav was two or three days old it was a lousy pic done at night with a flash so you really couldn't see much in the way of color, but you could see she was white where you'd see the effects of Pangere(makes Sorrel different from Chestnut). The previous owner couldn't remember the sire's name nor did she know the breed of the dam.
