...is partially back. Unfortunately she is not from a registered mini stallion. The most likely suspect, Skye, has no papers although his supposed sire and dam do and there is DNA on them to make sure. So in order to register Legz we'll have to register the sire, get a permanent registration for Lucy and then Legz. Sigh! We really need to sell her to help pay for the colt Chelsea's training. Should have known it wouldn't be easy - seems nothing has been for us when it's horse related. Ok, I'll stop whining now. Thanks for letting me vent a little.

I'm wondering if it wouldn't be easier and cheaper to just hardship her into AMHR. Is registering the stallion an option??? There would have to be a stallion report on file - filed late (additional penalty) register him, parentage qualify him because there would probably be questions as to why it wasn't filed until he's...how old? Then DNA him and DNA mom .....I'm just wondering if it's not cheaper to just hardship her into AMHR OR just sell her as unregistered....the problem is that you'll never get the $$$ you want if she's not registered. I'll do some research and see what I can find for you.

If the sire's parents are who they think they are he could be registered. But first we'll check to see if he's "the one". How does hargdhip work? I think Legz will be too tall for AMHA anyway.

She can atleast be registered with Pinto as "unknown" "unknown". But it would be great if we could have her double registered.
