I work at a place that involves talking to Germany. A gal from there wants to come here and learn or work as a student working for an establishment that has Show horses that jump. Now I have no idea what I should be looking for to help her out. If there isn't a cow in the arena.... I don't do it. lol
Can anyone out there help me out?

If you look up the top show jumping barns in the country they normally take students. I have a trainer here in arizona that would willingly teach her! If you may be intersted let me know i will give you her contacts.

There's an excellent training facility located in Illinois called Field and Fences School of Horsemanship. www.fieldsandfences.comThis large farm teaches dressage and jumping and holds shows as well as having their students participate in shows. Check out the trainers page. Madeleine Axelsson is from Sweden and has trained in Germany under Hubertus Schmidt in dressage. She might be able to help with finding a farm/school here for your friend in Germany. Also see Brittany Perry's page. She is a jumping trainer/instructor here and at Fox Hollow Farm. She is looking to expand the jumping team at Fox Hollow. This farm is located near where I grew up. It is a beautiful place and is near all sorts of attractions and is about an hour north of Chicago. Temple Smith Lippizans is also located just minutes from here.
