Well as many of you know I am here in Texas to swim... and let me tell you the dryland workouts we have been doing are those to condition elite navy seals and the swim workouts are like hell underwater. I am having a pretty tough time adjusting to the new head coach, as i signed with this college under another coach before she was "let go" right before my class got here..
Please have me in your thoughts i need all the strength i can muster up each day in both wkouts...
Hope all is well with everyone!

*hugs* You'll be ok Skye! As your body adjusts to the schedule and your muscles develop more it will get easier. Just like keeping your heels down, got to keep after it and then after a while it becomes second nature.

Honey, you are an honorary Texan now, and we Texans are all tough. You will get adjusted, both to the schedule and being in a new place, and things will get better.
I am not too close to UT, an hour north of Ft. Worth, but if you can get up this way I can promise lots of horses to love to make you forget being tired, peace and quiet and some comfort food to make things better. I live in Paradise, yes that is the name of the town, and you are welcome anytime. Cookie

Cookie thanks so much for opening your home! I may take you up on that later in the season.
It is just tough because i signed with this college under two different head coaches and was recruited by the coach we now have at another school. I turned down her offer at the other school because i felt her training philosophies did not fit what i was looking for. I am trying my best to keep an open mind, its just so tough to deal with closed minded people especially on an elite athletic team.
I am missing my horses so very much, Sparkle and Baxter as well..
OH YeS NEWS FLASH!
Sparkle is going to be in every PetSmart flyer and store as the model for their new line of ice blue colored beds! It was supposed to be a local shoot only but the PetSmart Representitives loved her so much she is now the national dog... She should be pictured in the next months ads! So look for her! (for those of you who dont know she is a tiny White Mini Schnauzer)!
My mom said that the horses are doing well and enjoying not being worked in the heat out there... They do get lunged for an hour once a week however to keep their minds sane... Other than that they just get to be horses out in the pasture... and be loved and pampered! I cant wait to see them soon!
