In Need of Prayers!!!

Well i just got off the phone with my mother, and well all i can say is that i am a total wreck. They have told her that she does indeed have breast cancer, and that she will start radiation therapy in two weeks after they perform a lumpectomy.

I feel absolutely helpless in texas when she is in Arizona. And quite frankly i dont know how to deal with it. She is my best friend, and life has been pretty tough as of late. She is in the process of finalizing and awful and messy divorce from my dad (he is probably one of the most selfish and cold blooded men i know), trying to take care of my twelve year old brother, support my sister while her fiance is in ICU, and is constantly making sure i am okay here in Texas. She is the best woman i know, and i knwo that if i were in her shoes I would not even be in the slightest as composed as she is through this.

So i was just wondering if you could keep her in your thoughts and prayers as we get through this together.

I am so sorry Skye.. Prayers are coming her way. Breast cancer is indeed tough. My grandmother, now 80 years old has had it three times and survived all three rounds. Just remember, a happy heart is God's best medicine! She will get through this!

Skye~ If I could send you a big hug, I would. I'm so sorry! I will definately keep your entire family in my prayers. I know what your going thru with the worries of breast cancer. I've had family members with it as well. Both are survivors and cancer free. So hang in there. There is always hope and keep faith in God to put the right doctors in place for your mom and your sister's fiance. Hugs to you!!

Oh Skye not the news you wanted thats for sure..I am so sorry your going through this..Prayers for your Mom..she sounds like a TOUGH Lady and she WILL FIGHT this,,Prayers for your whole family going through so much!

You guys are all awesome. She is going to have her second surgery the week of the eighth so set date yet. I will keep all of you posted.
