He had a stroke during the early morning hours last Thurs. Morn. It killed half the cerebellum, it is the part of the brain that controls the equilibrium. He of course was so nauseous at the slightest movement. He had a big turnaround this morning and is much improved. So much better that he has been put in a rehab next to the hospital. It's amazing the difference between yesterday and today. Many prayers have been answered. He can't control his movements On his left side very well right now, but they say the brain will retrain itself and in awhile it won't be obvious that he had a stroke. I know you all will pray for his recovery. He is having a fit for his computer and I took it to him today, but didn't know if he was able to use it at rehab.
This is an email sent by his wife Carole. Please pray for his speedy recovery. James and his wife raise mini horses and donkeys. He loves his little horses so much. Some of you may remember Flair who foaled this spring. I know he misses his furbabies in the worst kind of way!

Is it okay to cross-post this? Some of us have been concerned and checking for updates on their website with no idea this happened. We get a white blank page for their message board. Prayers sent for James, and continuing for Dustin. For Carole too, of course!

James is home and is doing very well. I chatted with him the other day and he seemed in good spirits. Was picking on me as usual. And typical of James, he was worried about getting firewood into the house. Always thinking of others. I told him it was time to think about himself for once. He said he was having to learn to do some things again but is very positive about it. He is a very faithful man and I'm sure has turned this over to the Lord. Keep praying for a speedy recovery.

thanks for the update. Prayers continue, and I'll share the news with his friends on the Seven Acres board who are also praying for him.
