Numbers and Brando update

It has been some time since I posted. Thought I would brief you all on whats been going on around here.

After our EVER so long gestation Numbers took to motherhood really well. Brando has been terrific and I can say honestly I LOVE THIS BABY!!! He has so much presence and loves to be LOOKED at...........the stallion owner keeps coming by and can't believe how much Brando is like his Dad, the way he carries himself and how light he is on his feet.

October 1, Brando had his first show. Canadian Warmblood Foal Futurity. There were 9 in our class and some really stiff competition. WE WON 3RD.........blew a lot of BIG breeders out of the water heheheheheheheh

Mid October Numbers really had had enough, she wasn't producing alot of milk anymore and Brando was getting a little to rough, so Numbers went to our friends for a vacation and Brando's half brother (2 months older) came here to be weaned. It was so nice to see the brothers running and bucking in the fields.

As of Saturday night I have all my kiddies home, (Numbers arrived home late Saturday-glad to see her girlfriends) and they are all in their own beds................LIFE IS GOOD!

Welcome back and thanks for the update! Your horses are so beautiful - it's amazing how quickly they grow!

Congrats on your wins too - that is awesome. We show and I know how very tough the futurity classes can be - what a nice surprise to beat out the "big breeders". So, how many people wanted to buy him? That's usually what happens.

We have decided to keep the little monkey! Well at least for now.....hehehehehe

My husband is going to be showing him on the line next year, and we will see how well behaved he is as a stud colt.

His brother might be joining us for the show season, so that will be 2 stud colts..............YIKES............
