Whoops - I did it again! :)

Well.......I added a new mare to my stables and it's not at all what you guys would expect!

I have just purchased a beautiful Arabian mare from Stephanie at Windsong Arabians.







Everyone got to see her foal that beautiful colt, Atlas, in the photos above. She is a proven producer of colorful and beautiful foals! We are very excited to have her join our family and we look forward to seeing her foal in 2008!!! That will be a wonderful surprise!

I figured I would let Heather announce that! April is the most wonderful, sweetest little mare you could ever meet! Everyone who comes to the ranch just loves her, and while it will be sad to see her go, we will at least be able to watch her here! ;D AND we have her incredible son Aatlas who will stay with us here FOREVER! ;D

Wowsers! Heather, where are you going to put them all? LOL! What a wonderful investment and a great mare. I have to admit that I fell in love with her when I was watching her. Such a sweetheart and always wanting to see everyone that came near the barn.

Congrats heather She is a pretty mare, and seems she will be good to have as a barn pal to the minis. Will she be pastured with the minis? I bet they'll get along great with her

She might be pastured with the larger mares, but we'll see. One kick from a big'un will serious hurt a mini, so we'll play it by ear.

Mostly April is pretty easy to get along with and is near the bottom of the pecking order with all the BIG mares here, BUT she WILL defend her babies and she WILL stand up for herself if pushed by another horse. Mostly she just walks away from a confrontation though.

Oh Heather, she is so gorgeous! I raise Paints, but have always had a love for Arabians. I think they are the most beautiful horses of all the breeds. You are very fortunate. Congratulations!!!!
