I was wondering if any of you have heard of flying minis? I know that the guidehorses are flown,
My mother wants to meet Dallas, So she said to see how he would handle flying 2 hours?
I talked to a Delta employee and they said that they ahve done it before...
Mini Experts what do you think?
Thanks Skye

You might want to ask Nettie @ Silhouette this question. She is in the process right now of having a mini flown from Louisiana to Australia.....so exciting for Nettie, isnt it?? I'm sure the quarrantine issues wouldnt apply in the US, but not sure.

Just be sure the wings and landing gear are strapped tightly to the mini.
Really it ought to be the same as shipping a dog or cat or whatever by airline. No big deal. Unless minis have some cardiac issues I don't know about. Obviously the mini won't fit under the seat. But horses are shipped by air fairly frequently.

FUNNNY!! Erika!!
We flew our Doberman's much to the Delta attendants displeasure (LARGE Female (black and tan) and Medium Young Male (Red)) When we moved from Atlanta GA to Jonesboro AR. We just put them in Large Crates. I bet he would do fine in an EXTRA LARGE CRATE, (How big is he now??)
