Oh how sad. I just can't imagine how someone could let this go for so long. If you can't take care, or don't have the means to give the animals what they need, then you should have the compassion to find good homes for them. That would be so much better than to let it go as far as this lady did and have to go through the embarrassment she has to go through now. I sure hope she's never allowed to own any more animals and they all find good homes. Thank goodness for the SPCA, and good, caring people that turn in these animals in.

Sweet mother of jesus, WHAT are they feeding that runs $1000/month each horse? Even the scrawny old horse I'm stuffing with Senior feed only runs me about $150/month. Which is what it costs me to feed all 5 of the rest together.
