I just posted loads of pictures on the pictures board. [/size]
My boys came home last week. Helplessly Hoping works spring/summer/fall most years for a friend of mine. One of her students had Rowdy Bumble on loan. Rowdy was getting out of the fence and visiting the neighbors, and her dad got tired of chasing him down in the middle of the night, etc, so they sent him home. Hope was due soon, and it was easier to bring them both at once. They were dropped off while I was at my temp day job, and when I got home Rowdy was dead lame - as in, didn't even want to touch the foot to the ground lame. It took a couple days, but I did get the abscess opened at his heel. The beautiful part: The woman who brought them home claimed he was fine when she dropped him off. I know abscesses can be fast, but...
But I am glad to have my smiling boys at home. Not that I needed two more mouths to feed over the winter - this makes six. My hay man asked did I have plans to sell any of my horses (two of the ones here are his). I said nope. He didn't seem to know what to say. :-)
