I want, er I mean, Santa wants to bring Chelsea clippers for Christmas but he only knows about reindeer clipping. If his price ranges is in the $100-150 range, what are the best choices? He's heard several people having problems with Oster. The Wahl KM-2 or the Wahl Arco SE are in the price range at Horse.com. Are adjustable heads better than switching blades? Please help Santa so Mars doesn't look like a matted sheep next spring!

I'm not sure if I can be of much help. I happen to love my adjustable blade Whal clippers(well I would if I still had 'em, they seem to have gone missing.) I forget what model they were (discontinued right after I bought mine), they were just a small set for trimming not for full body clips. Oster clippers are wonderful! I've used the large model on dairy cattle and what a great cut.
