With the vet, My dad has kept trying and no one is there. He was acting really weird, like how Butter was right before she had him.
But, he isn't acting strange anymore. I will post if he starts agin.
The guy at the feed store said he just might have had a litte stomach ach, or gass. (the people up there have help us alot and since we couldn't get ahold of the vet, my dad called them for help.)
And someone told us NEVER let a horse lay if he was showing signs of colic. So yeah that is what we were doing.

Ok so my dad did get ahold of the vet clinic when I was in the house and they were out. They said just to keep an eye on him and walk him as much as posible. They said if he was still doing that in the next hour then to call. But after about 30 mins he stoped so we need to keep an eye on him.
He hasn't been doing much of anything now, which they usally go in the shelter at about 10:00pm then they go out from 5:00 am- 7:00 am. But since there is snow on the ground, they have been staying in and around the shelter. They start to calm down around now, so mabey this is over.

If Tigger does have gas, you can put your ear on his back side just above & to the front of his flank. Then you tap him firmly & quickly with your fingers. If it sounds the same as if you were doing the same thing to a basket ball then it is a case of gas colic. If you hear gut noise that is good. No gut noise is a negative sign. Check all his signs: 1) Look at his gums & check the color (they should be pink), they should be moist, and check refill time(firmly press your thumb on his upper gums, then remove it. If the refill is normal the white color should turn back pink quickly. 2) check to see if his nostrils a flared like he is breathing hard, 3) check his pulse. Make sure it is not elevated. You should familiarize yourself to his normal signs! That way you will know when, and how bad he is really feeling when he is not acting rite Why don't you & your parents get a horse health manual so you will have that to also fall back on when the Vet isn't available. I also keep a asper-paste in the barn when I am sure that it is only a minor gas colic. But you must be sure before you give it as you do not want to mask his signs if he were to get worse, and the Vet did get out.
Luv from my farm to you & Little Tigger, Laura

He was breathing hard a while ago, and when we just went out i automaticly thought to check his paulse, it seemed normal
And I looked at his gums, (i searched some things to do if your horse seemes colicy) they were normal, and I did not push down on them though. I did all this before I read your post.
And his behind sounded rumbly, and so did his tummy.
I told my mom we should get a book.

Hey, how is Tigger doing today? Better I hope. Glad to hear that he does have gut sounds, that is always a good sign ;D
If you look at his gums and they seem pale & tacky,or red & angry, then you would do the refill test. If they seem normal, well no need.
Rapid breathing is a sign of stress &/or discomfort. Except if the horse has been running around
Well again, keep us posted
