Just wanted to let everyone know that Kirri is doing really well today. I have her in with Allie and Ace.. she is really protecting Ace from everyone.. herding him away from everything and they were grooming each other today.. and playing.. just so lovely. She is doing great and her udder is going down slowly but surely. Shes just a real love bug.
We miss our Lil Butt.. but he is running free now. We lost a 3 day old filly 4 years to the day that he died.. so they will be there together along with a mare we lost march last year... it gives me great comfort that they will be looking after him.

So sorry to hear about buttons. after watching so many mare mommys and babies, it is heart wrenching when one has a loss.

Nettie, I'm so sorry to hear your sad news. Sometimes it seems that life isn't fair, but there was some reason he had to leave you all so soon. Hugs to you all and sending prayers your way .

Thank you all so much for your well wishes and prayers. Buttons has been gone for a week now and Kirri is settling well .. her udder is going down and she is more comfortable.
