Yay wonderful news!!! I was watchin too when they were playing...What a hoot hu...I saw ya all doin the trimmin...That was interesting watching that gil keeping Trouble away then Surprise,lol.I laughed so hard my sides hurt...Oh what a joy to be able to watch them.Thanks so so much...Take care and keep up the wonderful work with them...God bless...

Hello Windsong...Umm, your cam is down again...Take care Well, I'm not windsong redmustangwoman1 but my cam was definitely down. It should be back up now. But I think you all missed the twins getting their ears clipped for the open house. They did pretty well. We lucked out, they'd been out of food for a while and so they thought they were starving. We were able to give them food to keep the odd one occupied while we clipped. We didn't get any interference at all. I think that's a first. But they're so smart it will probably only work once. |

Judy, you're not the only one that was having a blonde moment. I looked at you saying windsong and couldn't figure out where that had come from. I was definitely puzzled. But then I was out clipping more horses when it finally dawned on me that Windsong was the Sabino Arabians breeders. So when I posted it here it was really because I was laughing at both of us. I'm terrible at names...............can hardly remember my own half the time.

Looks like the cam has been down again. I think my husband unplugged the receiver and then plugged it back in again thinking that it would work ok. But I've learned from experience that it all has to be reset. Heck, the darn think is so touchy that if we bump any wire it cuts off the connection. I'm going to have to move the cords because they're currently hanging down over the broom and rake rack. But at least I'm getting figured out what causes it to go down. Trouble and Surprise would be pretty annoyed to know we've kept them from their fans  |

Hi devotee, I think the cam went down in the afternoon sometime. Dave went shopping for the food for the open house which made our frig overflow. So the small one I take to horse shows got hooked up on the back deck for the overflow. The plug in on the deck doesn't work, so we've been running an extension cord through a window for the cam. He added a breaker bar so he could plug in the cam and the frig. Pretty sure that's what put us down this time. Glad to hear that the twins are keeping up their antics. Seems like whenever I go to check on them, they're sleeping or eating. I know they've been naughty because the bedding is all pushed up against the walls but I don't seem to be catching them in the act lately. Guess because I don't have the time to spend with them while I'm getting the other horses ready for the open house. Tomorrow will be bath day. I'm sure Surprise will love that! She hates baths. So if you spot the stall empty, the fireworks will start as soon as they come back in. They are very, very naughty after a bath. Lots of rearing, bucking, kicking. Temper tantrums for subjecting them to the indignities of a bath and having to behave. And since they're still getting shampoos for fungus, that means waiting ten minutes before the rinse. They're pretty ticked by then. The little monsters. As for mares having a sense of humor, I don't know about most mares but Vee pretty much takes everything they do in stride. EXCEPT they can't be mean to her. She tolerates no back talk either when she disciplines one of them. If she says No or get out of my space, they pretty much ask "When, where and how fast should I get there?" She's a great mom. I love it when the mares make the kids respect them, makes my job much easier. And heaven only knows with these two monsters, I need all the help I can get! |

We're struggling here with the cam. It's been up an down a dozen times today. Not sure why but it's a pain. We're going to be bathing the twins in about and hour and a half. Hope the cam stays up so those of you watching for the after-bath-temper-tantrum get your wish.
