take a piece of string and measure from the middle of the horse's chest around their side and back to their tail. then lay the string out next to a tape measure and that's what size your horse is.

o.. well the blanket size i was wondering about was for the foal she is caring..i was just saying that she is a quarter horse so as an estimate of the size of foal she would have.

That's a hard question. Check Country supply out. Site follows. They are having an awesome sale on foal blankets. From $14.96 to $20.00 off. I'd go with a medium size. But at these prices you could buy a small and a medium just in case. These blankets are pretty adjustable. www.horse.com/products/gift-0__sku-BEQ38.html#addinfo

Thanks a bunch guys..u have been very helpful. It prob would be best to get a large since she is a large quarter and was bred to a percheron. I guess it would be better to have it a little big then to small....thanks again heather
