It is very sad what some people will do these days. I definitely agree with the post about needing to bring back horse thievery as a hanging offense. I have posted this on our message board as well to help get the word out. If you have any updates, let us know and we will post them as well.

We have not heard another word from them since that night but we are keeping watch out anyway. My neighbor nor myself are letting everyone be gone all at once. My husband has even asked other neighbors to be on the look out. Its sad when you have to be worried to go to work. Yet I would rather worry than not and my minis be gone forever. I just don't know how I could ever deal with it.

I was just wondering, Did you ever try to call that phone number back and give that idiot a piece of your mind? The reason I ask is because I went through a worrisome time with a guy coming to my farm, looking around way tooo much , & asking a lot of questions (several just didn't seem rite) I later checked him out, I found out that he wasn't the best person to have around (if you catch my drift) so I was worried that he was going to come back & rip us off. Then a couple weeks I happen to recognize him in a convenience store. I just said 'hello' & made small talk & left. Then before I got back into my car, I tunned around went back in to ask him a couple of my own questions. When he saw me coming coming back in, he went & hid in the bathroom! I acted like I forgot gum or something to kill some time, and he never came out. Well, that sent up a big red flag. So I questioned the cashier, and she knew him. She said that she was his girl friend. Another red flag, cause when he was nosing around my farm, he had mentioned 'his wife' Well, I then started asking the girl questions about him, knowing he could hear from the close by bathroom door. Then I just let her know just how much my horses mean to me, and just what I would do if anything happened to them
Needless to say I do not worry about that guy ever coming back to my farm with has cohorts in crime stealing any of my animals & stuff! I also fell much better too! ;D

I did and they told me they were on their way back to Florida and what was I mad about. I told them I wanted to know why they were at my place and they just plain told me they came to get ten horses. I told them they knew better we had not sold them any horses and I was told so we didnt get them so dont be mad and they hung up on me and would not answer back.

I wonder if these are the same people that had anything to do with the colt they left for dead in SC and also the minis that were stolen yesterday in Umatilla because it is not very far from Marion County.
