Lipizzaner Stallions

Has anyone here ever seen the World Famous Lipizzaner Stallion show???
My trainer suggested I go, so yesterday I got ARENA LEVEL tickets, and they are coming tonight at 7:30!!! Plus, the stallions will be boarding at the same barn as casper for tonight, (Casper will be surrounded on two sides by these beautiful horses!!
Maybe I should trade the animals in the stall and put the purple blanket on one of the stallions!! J/K you all know how much I love my boy.

BTW, training is going great, we are starting to get a rhythm to the trot!!!

I've seen the Lippizaners a couple of times. The first time I thought they were really interesting and fun to watch, but I didn't know anything about gaits and riding. The second time I had been to enough horse clinics and watching my daughters riding lessons that I had a much bigger appreciation for what they did. Enjoy the show, they're well worth it.

Yes, I've been twice before, but they were a really long time ago, and I'm going again in a week exactly!! I can't wait. I just love Lipizzaners and the high school dressage they do in the show!

I saw them when i was real young and dont remember much of it but i know i loved it!! Need to see when the are coming to Fl so i can take my little girl. Hope you have fun! We all know you will!

Wow! They're coming here later this month and I SO want to go! My aunt's seen them and she LOVED them!

THEY WERE AWESOME!! However, their andalusian was stabled next to casper, they didn't make good roomies......the stallion attempted to come over the stall wall 4 times while I was there (that's why we went to the barn after the show). So, Casper is outside with the other geldings tonight....he was so misserable inside.
THE SHOW WAS GREAT!!! The horses were awesome!! I can't wait to learn some of the dressage stuff! Thought not the hard stuff anytime soon!!! I am so glad I went, I learned A TON!! Can't wait to bring casper inside again tomorow morning though, if not just to feed him!!
Hope you all who are going to see them soon have as much fun as I did!!

Had 8 of them in my barn..... They preformed in a local town and needed places to stay overnight. I had room for 8 of them.

I took pictures and still can't believe they were here. Amazing !!!Each horse had a number of workers assigned to it. Each one was in charge of a certan chore. Grooming, Feet, feed etc.

I just saw that the Lippizanners are coming to my area too. Darn, I would really have liked to go see them again, but I'm afraid I'm too soon out of surgery to face the crowds.

Wow really? How many to each horse? I would of thought one per horse. Wonder how many are in the show all together.

There was 4 people to each horse. One person to watch over all the workers and horses. Very interesting to watch them come out of the semi trailer. Two ride above the hitch/gooseneck. They back the horses up in that area. The riders in the show are also the ones who take care of the horses. If you go to see the show.... Look for the big guy! Don't remember now how big he is but he towers over the others. Its worth the money to watch them.
