How does a cam veiwer know after the baby is born if it is a colt or filly? Is there some kind of signal that the owner of the mare gives. I know some call people to update, but is there any others things that will tell viewers what it is? I watched a foaling yesterday but missed the signal because I was distracted. Thanks in advance.

Some will hold a sign up or put one up on the stall. And if you miss it they will most likely post it on here on the topic of the mare or barn.

sometimes the owners will tell marestare-ers beforehand that one thumbs up is colt, two thumbs up is filly or vice versa. there are several different methods :-)
