Oh, bless his little horsey heart! I can't believe he's only 12! Thank goodness he's found a safe place to live. He will bring you lots of joy.

He is soooo luck that you took him in ;D Bless you for your generosity. I have bought a couple of horses before that I felt sorry for, and gotten them well. I still have one of them, she has turned out to be a sweet little friend

That just breaks my heart. Does he have a spine injury? Noticed a dip just above his flank. Spine curves just before and after the dip. Poor baby. Hugs and kisses Charlie. And maybe a carrot or two? Keep us updated Skye. You're an angel!

Oh, that poor thing! He looks like such a sweetie, too. I'm glad he will be getting a second chance at life, now. I would LOVE to see what he looks like once he is healthy again!
Is that a big scar on his flank?
I always say that people who abuse animals should have the same things they did to the animal done to them.

Lots of praise to you for taking him in. I am sure he will have better home with you. Don't forget to post after pictures. Certainly doesn't look his age at all, but it's apparent he wasn't taken care of.

Awwww! I am sure he knows he is very lucky now. I can't believe how some people treat animals and have no respect for them. It makes me physically ill to see animals who are so loving be treated so poorly. Good luck and hope to hear more about him in the future. He sure looks like a handsome guy.

Aww he's so handsome! He looks so tiny for a 12 year old but he looks so sweet! Bless you for rescuing him, thank God for you!
It literally makes me sick to my stomach and depressed over what so called humans do to beautiful creatures in this world. I have always said that I prefer animals over humans and when I hear of animal abuse cases it affirms it more for me. Bless you for rescuing Charlie! With people like you in this world, we can win this fight against animal abuse!

Charlie is beautiful. He is having some pain issues, mostly arthritis.
