Here is the question. Should a 2 week over due mare be loaded into a trailer for a 15 mile ride there and 15 mile back to see her vet?? I know its probably a stupid question but I would really like to know what u seasoned breeders and neone else thought about this? I have the option of taking her to her vet just to have her checked out (my piece of mind) tomarrow since he will be doin a coggins clinic in town. Or the other option is to wait till tuesday night for him to come out here?? Its not an emergecny it just to check to see where this baby is. Do u think she would be ok for the ride or should i just wait till tuesday. But heres the arguement I am having with myself what if she goes into labor before tuesday and the baby is turned wrong?? If I have her checked tomarrow I will know where we stand. Btw my vet is normally an hour away. So plz if u read this let my know what ur thoughts are on this. ANY thoughts are welcomed including the ones that tell me shhhhhh ur just paranoid...lol
