Due to a family emergency Rushwind Stable will be offline. Please pray for our family. Please for those who know what happened do NOT post on this board what has happened due to government regulations on it . I will post more information as is made available for me. I can post this information there was a bombing in Kabul,Afghanistan and it is believed my husband was on the convoy. That is all that can be stated. Thank you for your kind thoughts and prayers Linda (MrsMedic)

Update: My husband is at the Air Force Base hospital , he called me and said he is ok, not seriously hurt but his team member is in serious condition. He was involved in the blast and he is shaken up, I could hear it in his voice. I am just thankful he is ok for the most part, he didn't tell me more than he was "ok". I know my husband, he will tell me he is ok, even if he is hurting.. the rascal. I am sure he has just cuts and bruises type stuff. I am just so thankful he is ok. I will turn the cam back on later today, I just need some down time to digest all that has happened. It is so scary having a loved one in a war torn country. Thanks to everyone for the thoughts and prayers!!!

Your husband and his team are in my prayers, as you are also. Take care of what you need to do, physically and emotionally, at home and don't worry about the cam.

It is so scary having a loved one in a war torn country. I know exactly how you feel Linda. I raised my oldest grandson. After he graduated High School he worked in a business that my hubby and I owned while he decided what he wanted to do(College or military). Well military won and he has served one tour for the Army already in Baghdad. I was a nervous wreck the whole time he was there. He is stationed in Kansas at Fort Rily. He wants to make the Army his career. I also have a daughter who served 10 yrs in the Airforce and now she is Army National Guard.I don't know of many familys who have not been impacted by this terrible war in some way. My thoughts and prayers are with our soldiers everyday and I will add your hubby and his team members. God Bless you and yours. Linda
