I sit here staring and staring,  and I can't help but wonder. How do y'all do your staring? Do you have favorite mares that you watch all the time? Do you shoot through the list on the Foaling Alerts forum for mares that are close (like me) and pick your mares that way? Or do you just have the Alert Monitor up and wait to get alerted? If this is the wrong forum to ask this in, feel free to move it  |

HEY Jokerette.....I'm a lurking member of your board too! Though I think my name there is Sabbatia. Funny meeting you here!
To answer your question, in my case I've made some friends on some of the messageboards over the years and even though I'll watch anybody's horse that's close, I usually watch the ones that I know the best first and formost. When they used popup refresh cams, I could open 5 or so on this puter, and when it got really busy I have another computer three feet away. Mary's horse is on it now.

I usually go through the list each night and pick out whoever is close or whoever I've been watching for awhile. Most nights I try to narrow it down to three, but tonight I have 5 up.
Tonight I'm watching Song, Careless, Sytske, Beauty, and Cowgirl.

LOL.. Small world... Right now I have 14 windows open. I have my favorites, then If one is being talked about I add that one. Then there are ones that I have no clue where they came from up.... I think I'm addicted... Proud member of JU too.. |

I have some favourites that I've been watching for a while and my daughter has a couple she likes to watch (she's 7) then I too bring someone up if they are being talked about. I reduce all the sizes to 50% and make all the windows small so I can get as many on the screen as possible.  (Now I need an emoticon for crazy).  Nice to meet you here too jokerette. I'm a member of your board as well. I think my name there is NorthernBBFan. |

OMG Jokers everywhere. Good to see you Sabbatia and NorthernBBFan!! Now y'all know where I am, when I'm supposed to working. Can you say "Busted"? ROFL I am also watching Sytske... I try to always watch the ones who say "Eyes needed." But I have my favs... anything Hunter/Jumper will have my attention stat. ROFL I bet we all have our favs like that I love the big draft horses too. |

Hmmm im not sure if im supposed to say heres another one or start with the habbits first, i'll start with the question i go to the cam page click on all the ones that have recently had a foal and admire then for along while then slowly close them but still keep a few up then go to the boards and click on anyones that are close and/or check on more foals then i go to chat and wait for ppl to post links i would keep them all up but then my computer crashes so i prefer to stare at some then none oh and then i also have to take the long root to get too some cams so i get to stare at more foals yay and now i'll say heres another one (ju member, yes under diff name at ju too cuz i felt like a diff name (chels)) |
