:)Thank you Jeanette for the hugs and the prayers. I appreciate everyone praying for Me, my mom, and Gabby. Gabby is doing better but she is still a very sick little girl and still needs alot of prayers. yesterday the doctor called us to tell us Gabby had fluid in her lungs and that they were going to tap her chest and drain it. She said we would hear from her agian later today (monday) so we are just awaiting her call. We will continue to keep everyone updated and the prayers are much appreciated and are stil greatly needed. Thanks so much everyone. This has been a very hard and long road and I am hoping that she will have her baby without any trouble and come home to me soon. Thanks, Hugs and Kisses to everyone. Shannon

Shannie, you keep those updates coming. I know when I was there watching over the animals for you while you were away you can just tell these animals could not have a better home. Gabby is as blessed to have you as you are to have her! She would never have gotten the attention and care that you have given her. I believe you have found your calling with these animals. You have a gift that many people could never even imagine. This comes to you naturally and you have had it since birth. I remember the day you found the dead mole on the sidewalk and you picked it up and comforted it saying, "Poor, poor Beaver!!" We are all awaiting news and continueing to pray for you & Gabby.

:-*Hey Shanny! Aunt Moe here. Altho not the best of times, I want to thank you and your mom for allowing me the pleasure of tending to the rest of the family in your absents. What a pleasure it was to wake each morning and walk to the barn and open the doors and hear from one and all..."Good Morning!" in their horsey language. That is something very hard to explain to an outsider. I feel rather lost this morning without my little four legged friends, I will have to come visit more offen. You take good care of them for me and please let us know how Gabby and Million Dollar is doing. Love to you both. I am here, sure you ever need me.

Big hugs to all of our MareStare family and to our natural family. My sisters, Mona & Hope, Mona's Husband, Jack, my nephew Cacky and his wife Connie, all stepped in this weekend, drove several hours and put aside their own lives to assist my father with tending to our horse family here while we were tending to Gabby and her foal. It is heartwarming to know that so many people care about us, but especially care about these little furry creatures that capture our hearts so completely.
This has been an extremely emotional experience for us, but knowing that there are so many prayers and so much support is comforting beyond anything you can imagine. Angie even left her home and a very ready to deliver mare so that she could be at the hospital with us.
The latest update is that we think Gabby may be in early labor (yeah) they checked her with a speculum and her cervix is closed, but there is alot of edema on the walls of the hoo ha,(computer will not let me put in v a g i n a) (ha) which is normal as the mare prepares to deliver. It would be a blessing to have this foal deliver normally and relieve Gabby of some stress.
The vets also believe that Gabby is still colicing, but we're beginning to think she has ulcers from all the stress, so we have a phone call in to make sure that they are giving her the appropriate meds for that as well.
Hopefully we're closing in on a live, healthy foaling and some needed relief for Gabby. There is a chance that her heart won't stand the labor, that's been made very clear to us, so prayers are still needed and appreciated.
God Bless you all and thank you for your support and your outpouring of love to us and to Gabby and her million dollar baby - as Aunt Moe put it.
Hugs....

Thank you for the update, my thoughts are with you. I hope Gabby has a safe delivery and her heart holds up during the stress of labour. I wish and hope for nothing but the best. Our little fur friends are amazing animals and heal up really fast. They have such a strong will to survive, I wish we had the strenght they do. Lots of hugs from the Anderson family.
