i will not try to help this person ever again! i called this lady who is a friend of my mil's . its the lady who has the standardbred race horses who need homes. well i had a home for a gelding she had available. i told her all about this home. he would have a perminant home, where he could be a pasture buddy once his bowed tendon heals in an 8 acre pasture with an older gelding who needs a buddy. that they have a really good vet and farrier who works closely with them. and he would have the best feed, love and care possible. i asked her for pictures of him and then i asked her about his papers. i told her its not a deal breaker or anything they was just curious as there is stb shows around her area. she would take him reguardless. well this lady went as far as to start saying something to a friend of ours about this girl called her saying she had a home and that she wanted papers and all so she could resell him to the kill pen! i was so so peeved when i heard this. no more will i try to help her rehome these horses. this is the thanks i get for trying to do a good deed

Wow Starlite Farms,
That is so aweful that some one would say something like that. She will get what is coming to her. Please do not let that negative stop you from doing good deeds. There are alot of different type stanardbred shows and all she was trying to do was give him a job besides a pasture buddy if he could be shown lightly. It takes many many months to heal from a bowed tendon, if at all depends on severity of it. If he wasnt going to be sound to ride or show at least he would have had a pasture buddy to play with.

I agree, don't let the negativity from this woman stop you from doing good deeds. Do it for the love of the horses. Keep up the good work! She will get hers... karma
