Nurse mare needed Richmond- Good News, one found!

A 3 Day old filly needs a new mother - nurse mare immediately needed in Richmond Virginia or any surrounding area.

The filly is currently located at the Blue Ridge Equine hospital in Charlottesville, Virginia where it's mother just had to be euthanized due to complications from her delivery.

If you know of a mare in any surrounding area that could be brought to this precious filly to help nurse it, then please call me immediately. In addition to Blue Ridge, our local vets are also trying to help us locate a nurse mare...perhaps you know someone who has a mare that lost a foal, or has milk? Please call us.

Jingles for the filly, and for my trainer (and friend) who just lost her beloved mare. Rest in peace, Chelli...we'll miss you.

I am so glad to hear it Kim! I wish I could have found a foal for Sweet Pea, but that is one of the downfalls to breeding early less people have foals that early! Sorry to hear about the passing of the mare however.
