 Yes!!!!! She will be living large with the minis and the remainder of her life will be what it should be.....spoiled rotten.  I saved Aegean too, but I can't afford the transport to get two big 'uns home. I hope she'll find a loving forever home...soon. At least her future looks brighter tonight.

Just a little reminder for those of you going to take these horses home PLEASE PLEASE be sure to quarentine them, strangles has been known to run rampant in feedlots...............I an not too far from CBER (roughly 3hrs).
Also quick question is CBER going to prove to you that the horses did indeed get saved and did not get put on the truck (for those that don't find a home but are sponsored)? Just a question as I would hate for someone to get shafted...............

Heather has agreed to take Aegean and I have offered to help raise funds for the shipping, She is already paying shipping for Bertha.Please Heather didn't ask us to do this we offered as she was gracious enough to save two horses.

No - we're thinking of posting on some board - there should be people travelling to Texas for horse shows....we could pay their fuel - they travel for free and we can pick up from Texas....
Just a thought....still working it out.

That would be fine beebs. I have gotten word from someone that they have a shipper that will haul them both for $1000- that's how much I earmarked just for Bertha, so if they can do them both I won't require any assitance, and all money donated will be returned or sent on to the Basin to help others. Fingers crossed..... $1000 was from Washington to Texas....so shipping will be more than $1000, but let's see what is quoted before we start worrying  |
