It's been a busy time here and havent had much time to be on the puter lately. I took a trip to Iowa last Sunday and was back home tuesday night. I picked up the last two of my girls that I had left there from when I moved to Kentucky. Boy have they grown. Stella is my buckskin homozygous girl and Sky is another buckskin girl. They were broke out to ride. I wont be breeding them this year, I want to give them another year to grow up some more. they are adjusting very well to all the others and are now out in the pasture. I also brought my two grandkids home with me and they will be here all month. That is keeping me really busy too. I got to mow my lawn the other night at 10:30 pm.. they had finally gone to sleep..lol... Wednesday morning I had the lime guy come and put 27,000 lbs of lime on the pastures. Then on Friday the vet came out and ultrasounded the girls. Out of 7 girls bred, 6 are in foal.. YEAH!!!!!. The one mare I could never catch in heat so I had put her in with the Priz hoping he could catch her in, but guess not... She should be in heat within the next week so I will be trying to get her bred. I still have Dancer and Buggsy to breed back too. Next year looks to be an exciting sping with most of the girls due in April. Hope theres lots of eyes out there so I can get a little sleep once ina awhile..lol... The barn cam is shut off for awhile till I get things all caught up again. If anyone wants to see something special tho, just let me know and poof cams can be turned back on... Thanks everyone, You have all made this years foaling much much easier. MARE STARE ROCK"S

I had bred 6 of my own mares and 1 outside mare. 7 total. The 6 bred to Jack are all on foal. Pawz, the red dun toby mare, I could never catch her in heat, really a silent mare, so I threw her in with the older stud Priz who is very good with mares in his pen hoping he would catch her in. But apparently not. Vet says she has an egg at 27cm so she should be in heat whether she knows it or not by the middle of next week. This years mare watch is over. Anna who was suppose to be bred, came up open but she is now in foal for next year, so am hoping she will carry it.. Mares bred and checked in foal for next year are: Anna Foxy Sirabee Chloe Dez and 1 outside mare Mares to be bred yet: Dancer Buggsy Pawz I will wait on Stella and Sky, the 2 girls I just brought back and will breed them next year when I give a couple of these other girls a year off. Scarlet the pony mare is not bred either, I sold Mickey the black and white pony stallion and there really isnt any nice pony stallions around here so I guess Scarlet and baby Jazz will be here by themselves and I can get Scarlet back into driving again, she love it.

Hi everyone, just been really busy around here and waiting for some much needed rain. I ended up selling Pawz the red dun filly so she wont be on the mare watch for next yr. Altho I decided to breed Stella the buckskin homozygous mare to Jack. Dancer is being rebred now and Buggsy should be in heat this next week. I had to figure out a different way to water the mama's and babies. There pasture is aways from the barn and I was trucking water out there on a daily basis. I finally got pvc pipe and ran a line from the barn so all I have to do it hook up the hose and poof they have water..lol... much easier. I think there is always something to do. I have my grandkids here for a month or so and we've been spending lots of time in the pool. I also got my first load of hay here altho not in the barn yet and should have more coming this weekend. Looks to be really busy in the barn.. Glad my brother Todd loves to come help me.. Dancer is still on cam but she is coming out of heat, will check her again later on today, if she is out then I will be putting her back in the field and bringing Buggsy and Splash in. Splash is really growing and he needs some halter time anyway. Be sure to check in on Buggsy and Splash and watch his halter lessons.. If you dont see them, just wait because they can go in and out of the small run in area too. Hope everyone is having a grand summer. July 4th is coming up and hoping to go camping for a couple days.. Am sorry I havent been on much here but I try to check in every evening after the kids go to sleep and see who's close to foaling... Thank you all so much for all the help in watching my girls. Dont know what I would have done without you all!!!!!!!

LOL... and what are your ponies.... registered as? Scarlet is registered ASPC Height 45.25 inches... And where are you??? I dont want to travel to far.. Sorry, I just saw this! Ummmmm, they are that ASPCA thing, too. Star is 44.50 inches he is the sorrel with flax mane and tail and Sun is 13 hh he is the buckskin Quarter Pony, Star is his daddy. Truthfully, I have no idea what Star is I bought him at an auction out of the slaughter pen almost 8 years ago. And, Sun is 1/2 of Star and 1/2 QH his mother was registered. Here is a picture of them. Sun the baby is now 3.5 years old. He was born on my daughters first birthday! So nevermind! Unless, Scarlet wanted to go "slummin' it" and fall in love with a mixed breed? What would the neighbors say? But, alas, we're in southeast Tennessee and long distance relationships rarely work out! I hope you do find Mr. Right for her and then put her on cam so we can watch her have a baby! Thanks for updating us on all that you are doing! I must say it's a lot easier to just have two super stud ponies!
