Ashley at Layne Farms needs prayers

Just got an email from her friend Claire...

"Hi Heather, I am not sure if you know that Ashley from Layne Farms is having some health issues, her skin cancer has returned, showing up on her eyelid. She will need surgery to both remove part the eyelid, then reconstructive to "make" a new lid. Understandably, she is a mental and physical wreck, being that she has no health insurance, and has to rely on mom for help."

Please keep Ashley in your prayers. She had a biopsy done today on her eyelid and I guess they removed more than she expected. Her eye is black and blue and she's in pain. She needs everyone's prayers to come through this quickly and completely.

Thank you Claire for bringing this to our attention. I hope that you will continue to keep us posted on her progress.

I wish you the best Ashley, I will PRAY for you like so many on this message board prayed for me. No one can ever tell me that prayer's don't help. As I was told when I went to Hospital I had only two more days to live and to get my stuff in order that was Feb, 21 2005 and here I still am . I have all the many prayers to thank for that. I take my chemo every three weeks & I am told I will have to take it the rest of my life. That's why I thank the good lord every morning for giving me another day. And I really appreciated the Prayer's believe me.

Hi everyone! Ashley is at her followup visit right now, and should be posting an update when she returns. I will let you all know how it went if she doesnt post here, the eye is still swollen, and its hard for her to type LOL. But shes doing good, I am so impressed with her bravery, shes an amazing gal!

I have good news. I have NO MORE CANCER THAT THEY CAN FIND ;D ;D

so now the healing continues. He said it looked great right now still yucky looking but that is going to happend with what all he did.I still cant do anything yet but next week at least i can start with doing a little:)
