Well, to start with, Hopey has a new home. She will be going to live in NC with Justine, who is also a member of Mare Stare. Justine bought Eclipse, Mojo and has now asked that Hope be a part of their family as well. She will have a Mulligan's Run Herd!!!
It was not our intentions to sell Hope, but Justine wanted to take her and make her into a therapy horse for Hospitals and Nursing Homes. Being that Hope has already been exposed to so many things, we thought that would be appropriate!
Also, Hope has become a celebrity. We already knew she was the center of attention where ever we go, but this weekend at the horse show in Fletcher, NC, CNN was there filming and they asked if Hope could be in a segment. So, this Thursday night at 7:30 on Channel 10 (that area) Hope will be on!!! We don't live in that area, so they are sending us a copy of the clip. I wish they'd send the bloopers too because Hope needed a bottle and kept mistaking the reporter's front (ahem) for her bottle. We laughed so hard we cried. In the end Shannon had to get a bottle for Hope and they fed her while they taped the segment.
We'll get the clip up on the video page as soon as we can. In the meantime...here's a recent photo of Ms. Hopey.
