Hi, I am new here and would like to introduce myself. ;D My name is Lori, I live in Western Washington with my husband, 2 children, 2 dogs, a hamster and our 3 horses. We have 2 AQHA mares and an APHA stallion. We will be breeding our mares this year so hope to have them up on cams next year! I look foward to getting to know all of you. Heather - I am so sorry to hear about Puff's foal.  |

Welcome to the Mare Stare family Lori. We are so glad to have you. Hopefully you'll help us watch the mares and you'll catch some foalings.
Thank you for your condolences on Puff. We had her at the vet on Wednesday and everything looks normal. Our vet wants us to breed her back, so we plan on doing that in a few months once she's had time to heal. We'll monitor her pregnancy and may have to put her on Regumate to retain the pregnancy, but it's worth a try. She's lost two and deserves to be a mommy again.

That must just be hearbreaking..... It would be bad enough losing one but two.... I can't even imagine. Best of luck with Puff, I bet she would definitely want to me a mommy again!  |
