The lady I work for has a 16 year old niece that is in Children's hospital in the special care unit. They don't know at this point what is wrong with OUR Lil Bit, she was born with a very rare disease that only effects 1 in about 200,000, Brittney (Lil Bit) has been in and out of the hospital since she was born. Lil Bit has a port in her stomach that she has to hook up ever night to take her meds. The last word I had on Lil Bit was that her kidneys were falling and she was swelling, they think she may have a pus pocket in her kidneys that is causing this. She will be going into surgery either tonight or in the morning. Lil Bit is very small for her age she is only 4 FT tall and weighs a whole 60 pounds.. She is such a doll and we all love her dearly.. Please put Lil Bit on your prayer list.. I will update on her progress as I get the information.. Prayer is wonderful.
They have done 4 MRI'S and 3 out of the 4 have showed no pus pocket on her kidneys.. The swelling has gone down some, Lil Bit is still her cheerful little self. She is not letting this get her down. I have let her mom know that she has all of our Mare Stare family praying for her. Lil Bit just loves the horses, she was over here visiting the kids when I had a foal in the house and she thought that was the coolest thing she had ever seen. She told everyone she seen that I had a horse in the house and it was wearing a diaper ;D Lil Bit is a fighter... I will update again as soon as I hear something.
