Whew ! Looks like the mare foaled ok and the baby is alive and well. Scary there for a while.

I can't believe I missed it!!! She foaled at 9AM my time. The one day I decide to sleep in, congrats!!!

It was more like 7:20 your time, Sarah. Scary thing to watch, but super happy all turned out OK! Very unusually marked blue roan & white filly. Got to love that 'skunk stripe'!

Both are doing fine now. Lil one has found the milk bar, and Lacey's pain has seemed to ease up now. We are so relieved this is over with....thanks to everyone.  Blue Roan and White Tobiano Filly  Jennifer Goodman {Goodman & Son's} |

Congratulations! Glad to see everything turned out alright. I started watching this morning right after the cams were turned back on Lacey and baby. I'd been checking on Lacey everyday for awhile now. Beautiful filly!  |
